Republic of Abkhazia. Memorial to the fallen's by jorgesanchez

Sukhumi - Georgia During 1992 - 93 there was a war for the independence of the Republic of Abkhazia. The Abkhazian won, and now Republic of Abkhazia is an independent country, not yet recognized internationally, but with all the relations completely broken with Georgia. In that war several thousands of Georgians and Abkhazian lost their lives. That monument (free of charge to visit) shows the horrors of that war.
