Swakopmund (NA) - town beyond the dunes's by krisek

Swakopmund - Namibia, Erongo This town is the Germanic Swakopmund, on the coast of Namibia. This picture was taken on my Christmas trip to Namibia. I ventured to Swakopmund twice. First, at the beginning of the holiday, and then at Christmas - at the end of the trip.

I want to return an possible retire here but read that criminality is high (which I cannot believe). A lot of the folk speak German carried over the generations from colonial days.... Perhaps I should write a report...
