Mandrem Creek's by marianne

Mandrem - India Mandrem (Goa) beach is separated from the main road by a creek crossed by several rickety bamboo bridges. The beach and Indian Ocean is behind me.

It was the shortest way to reach a hotel, which was in fact a number of shacks and bore the slightly misleading name of: Dunes Holiday Village. Was it just as much of an adventure crossing the newer one? marianne - Mar, 25 2008 11:03am Amanda, the newer bridge was unstable, to say the least. I don't like wobbly bridges and walked on for a mile or so to cross via a dam acros the creek, safer in my opinion.
