Hi Amanda, thank you for the very high estimation of my first report on the Elblag Canal. Writing in English gives me a major difficulty ... unfortunately, it takes a long time.
All the best.

Hi Amanda,
when I met Jill and Rudi in Munich this summer, Rudi told us that Globo will have an anniversary next year and we imagined how nice it would be to have a real big Globie meeting in Munich then... Do you think Andy would appreciate this? ;-)
Have a nice day - all the best - Petra

I had fully intended to visit this city in early 2010 but due to an accident earlier this year I been forced to curtail my travel plans for a while so I am relying on Globo members such as yourself to keep me informed about the wonderful places in the world still left to visit, thanks for this report, Kindest Regards, Tony.

Thanks for your kind words on my Colorado pics. What a great little trip it was! Do I see that you might be going to Morocco? What a wonderful plan! We almost went this year but still have it at the top of our list. Hope your plans go through!

Amanda, Eire spoke to me about a travel to Morroco some days ago - since then this is a big dream bubble in my head, too. But I don't know whether it will happen some day or not. For the moment there are no actual travel plans, unfortunately. :-(
I keep my fingers crossed for you.
Bye for now - Petra

thanks, I am fine - dreaming of warm weather (or warm waters, at least ;-)). Yes, these Swiss Guards are real posers...
How are you? Are the temperatures in London still agreeable or are you planning a travel escape to other regions? :)
Take care - Petra

Amanda,
We didn't do a package tour but we did have our driver climb up with us - there have been numerous reports of robberies on Pacaya. Having been, I can see how easily this would happen. The trail is a nasty thing through dense rain forest and even in daylight it would be so easy for someone to ambush you. At night, when we were coming down, we couldn't see a thing!
If you get the chance to climb one, do it! The lava was soooo cool!
