Thanks for your comment on my report on Marrakesh. That's the second one this month! Isn't it fun getting comments on older reports and transporting the mind back.
Where are you going next? Pam and I are going to Sicily in March, a more than welcome second visit for me and Pam's first.

have you been there recently? we have got tickets for 21st dec. how did you find the recommented hotel? in a book? I still havent decided. may we take car from the airport and leave to south immediately and stay in Marakesh at the end. we were there last 14 yrs ago. there was a place "hotel ali" before at jema el fna but I cant find it anymore. it was an institution for toubkal climbers. ..
thanks for your comments on both my Essaouira and Sylt reports.
I agree with you that the beach in Essaouira itself is shocking, but I recommended in my report the beach at Sidi Kaouiki, which looked pretty good. Definitely much, much cleaner. When we went in March we didn't spent much time on the beach as we had a nice pool at our holiday flat.

Hi Amanda, thank you for the very high estimation of my first report on the Elblag Canal. Writing in English gives me a major difficulty ... unfortunately, it takes a long time.
All the best.

Hi Amanda,
when I met Jill and Rudi in Munich this summer, Rudi told us that Globo will have an anniversary next year and we imagined how nice it would be to have a real big Globie meeting in Munich then... Do you think Andy would appreciate this? ;-)
Have a nice day - all the best - Petra

I had fully intended to visit this city in early 2010 but due to an accident earlier this year I been forced to curtail my travel plans for a while so I am relying on Globo members such as yourself to keep me informed about the wonderful places in the world still left to visit, thanks for this report, Kindest Regards, Tony.
