When I was in my teens we slid/surfed down these dunes (also D7)on cardboard boxes for a day of fun. Only that evening did we realised how sun&sand-burned we realy were, deskinned, screaming pain!

Rudi, you poor soul - that can't have been a nice experience (well the sun/sand burn). We choose to jump/run down, just as exhilerating, but I needed an escalator to get me back to the top.
