One the far left side of pix is the Lhotse (8511 m) and on the right is the Cho Oyu (8153m); pix shot from Pang la pass at 5120 m, on the way to the Everest base camp.

Did you climb anything yourself? plancarpin - Aug, 27 2008 03:08pm climbed up just a bit over the base camp at 5300 m...forbidden to climb higher without special permit... the trek to base camp is 8km away from Rongphu monastery (each way), the last place one can reach with the 4WD...easy trek but you really need to be perfectly acclimated
