Metahara - Ethiopia shot through the window... Metahara lake is a strange place. 12 years ago, nothing was there...and now, month after month, the lake is increasing in size, directly feeded by low water tables (below the earth's crust). This is a clear demonstration of the Rift valley activity. The major consequence will lead the Horn of Africa to be an island soon... (maybe something like 20 million years..you still have time to sip your coffee)
