religious debate at Sera Monastery's by plancarpin

Lhasa - China, Tibet at 3pm everyday, the monks have a session to test their skill and knowledge on religious matters; the standing monk asks a question, then makes a large circular movement at claps his hands; at that precise time , the seated monk should be able to answer.. the debate lasts up to 2 hours daily, and a friendly and noisy atmosphere
