Sri Lanka report

Posted: 2004-11-30 07:40 AM
Hi Mags or should I say whea aye (but I cannot spell it) LOL,

Thank you so much for readng and rating my report on Sri Lanka. I spend quite a bit of time in Thailand and travel from their to other places. I was lucky to get a return fare special offer at THB10,000 (£135) (from BKK to Colombo. The 20 day tour cost just £400 for all the hotels, car, driver etc. So all in all, a bargain trip. I enjoyed it so much and can recommend it to you.
My next trip will pale into insignificance - to Hartlepool, Sunderland and Middlesbugger - but that's family - good to report on that area though!

Thanks again,

Take care,

Cheers, Brit

Sri Lanka nature & wildlife slideshow

Posted: 2004-11-21 08:40 AM
Hi Mags,

Thank you so much for taking the trouble to look at my slide show on Sri Lanka’s nature and wildlife and indeed for signing my guest book. It really is a fabulous country to travel around and you are rewarded around almost every corner with a new thing to catch your attention.

The eye to eye shot was taken in Trincomalee and like most different shots - luck is needed!

I took over a thousand photos on this trip and am still wading through them all – I’m hoping to upload more slide shows in the coming weeks to bore you all with!!

I have really enjoyed your Thailand and Nepal views...I really would love to do Nepal...before I am too old!

Again many thanks for your interest and comments,

Cheers, Brit.

End of Nepal pics

Posted: 2004-11-10 11:23 AM
Hi Mags

That's it, I just uploaded the rest of my Nepal pics.... Now I can go after making a slide show of the Kathmandu region pics.... And then a report about Kathmandu should also follow but don't nail me on this.

I hope you like my pics and am looking forward to your comments and more of your contribution too!

Nepal Pics

Hey Mags

Thank you for your kind comments about my Nepal pics. There are still some left. I had to reupload some of the ones already posted because there was a problem with the upload engine. If you would like to have another view....

Anyway all the ratings you did of the previous pics are lost, if you are interested you could return to my site and re rate them...

Thank you

Martin

Bhakatapur

Hi Mags,
I saw your post on Martin's website.

He introduced me to Bhakatapur and your pictures are much more evocative than the official Bhakatapur web photos.

Well done

Hi Mags

There will be some more to come, still got most of my Kathmandu, Patan and Bhaktapur left to post.

And then there will be two nice slide shows (trekking and kathmandu area)

I'll only post like 5 pics every other day... slowly evolving. Right now there are about 50 pics uploaded every single day. At the end of last month is was about 5 pics a day.... We need something to look forward for the end of the month too ;-)
