my name comes from scandinavia and means 'son of Thor'. Thor is the 'god of thunder/thunderstorm' in older times.
i know this name from scandinavia and germany, but never had heard it in other regions or countries.

Hi Szidonia
No need to apologise. I appreciated the compliment. I just wanted to let you know that I am trying!
Cheers

Hi Sidonia
I'm glad you enjoyed my Marrakech report. I must admit it's the sort of place where a report almost writes itself.
As for your remarks about publishing, If only it were so easy to get a publisher to look - let alone to publish!
Cheers
David
thank you for your nice comment. I was standing on a sailing ship when I took the picture. Then a warm meal and a read wine as sun went down. It was really breathtaking.

hello Szidonia!
I think we hav'nt met in here before! Thanks for leaving a message on my Budapest report. I love this city! I am originally from east germany, I went first to budapest as I was 16 or so, still hitchhiking that time... that was fun! - I ve been to Romania to, all around the north, lovely villages hiking the carpatians. unfortunally I lost all pics on a computer crash. thats why I never wrote a report about.
coming days I will have a look on your picture album.
have a good time. Regards from Frankfurt Ralph

thank you for reading my Edirne report. I like this city very much, at least as much as Istanbul. (did you go there?) I did hear about Rumi i.e if you mean Mevlana Jalaluddin Rumi who is famous for its Whirling Dervish Tradition, but I would connetc that to Konya rather than Edirne.
