to be honest i dont really have a clue about surfing on sylt.. it also depends which kind of surfing you mean.. if you mean windsurfing i have in mind that there've been an international windsurf competition on sylt! don't know if that helps? i ried ;)

Hi. My name is emmalea. I live in Nebraska. California would definitely be a better place to live than here. You are right that it is not really like the rest of the United States, but it is not that different. It is very fast-paced and exciting. There is also much more diversity in California than most of the other states. I absolutely love Cali. It has a little of everything. The ocean and the mountains would be my two favorite things. The weather is also nice. It is constantly warm. In Nebraska, we get all four seasons, and they change pretty drastically from season to season.
I am sorry to hear about your accident. I hope you heal soon. I would love to hear about where you have traveled and lived.

Totally agree about the warmth of the people. I was a Trade Union official covering all Yorkshire and Humberside [as it was then] and Sheffield was the place I most enjoyed working. It threw up problems galore but they were usually interesting ones.

I dont have a digital camera,so jesus knows how i can put pictures on here of my many travels.For what it can cost for a good digital camera,i could usually upgrade my hotel room to something much better.

Wow Mister GLOBO (handsome new profile pic), you sure do have a wonderfull collection of butterflies under "friends". The list would make a perfect base for selecting a "Miss GLOBO", they are beautiful! :-)
