Indian bangles

Gloria,
Forgot to answer your question about bangles. I bought lots of them, for myself and as presents.

You remarked about the colour of my photos. This is the way they turn out, I am quite pleased with the colours as well. I also like both my cameras as I think they do a pretty good job.

down rating

Posted: 2006-03-24 07:22 AM
Gloria,

Thanks for reading my Parrasinikadavu report. Down rating will always be a problem, unless rating cannot be done anonymously.

Maybe Andy can change the current procedure in such a way that ratings without comments also show the name and the number of stars given.

We could suggets this to him and put it in the suggestions and announcements forum.
Will you put it in the suggestions forum? (or shall I)

India

Hi Gloria,
it was a fascinating journey. I stayed 14 days with a family in Mumbai and 14 days with another family in Delhi. Both families were friendly and observing. Mumbai was easier than Delhi. I think the reason was that it is situated along the sea. I liked the town, specially the British quarter and the night markets. Delhi was overwhelming, not only the sights I have seen but the people I saw and those I met. My family took me around to see their friends and their family. I went to Agra and Jaipur. The beauty of what I saw came to my heart.
The Delhi family invited me to the wedding of one of their sons. So I will go their late this year and plan to go either to Rajastan or Kerala. In June I will be off to Kyrgistan. And in March I have been to Harlingen, Terschelling, and Franeker in the Netherlands. I wrote a report about Harlingen, so you can read what it lookslike.
I love to travel and once in awhile I have to leave my country to love it again.
So long, take care.

Great to hear from you!

Hi Gloria,

Thanks for looking at my Valley of Fire album. It is an incrdible place. I was traveling with my niece and her 6-year old son, and they weren't interested in hiking back into the canyons. I was limited to areas where we could park the car. It's not my favorite way to explore, but at least I got to see the place, and plan to return soon.

I am moving to Las Vegas in June, the beginning of the temperatures in the 100's, so I'll probably wait until Fall, before I do any desert hiking. I will be within a days drive of Lake Mead, Hoover Dam, the Grand Canyon, the beautiful national parks in southern Utah, and the Anasazi ruins at Mesa Verde.

Hope you are well and happy!

Keep writing ***** reports

It is a pity to see a "phantom" ratings around again. Whoever rates your reports just * or ** is not a true traveller and neither a good community member. Ratings and awards are very important, just remember that after about six to ten honest ratings, the error disappears.

"THEME: costumes" is planned. I already have 25 pictures but didn't know if I should do "masks" (18 of those pics) separately? Do you think we could included masks and painted faces like
www.globosapiens.net/dipaks/picture-baba-21378.html
or should faces be separate? I think so now, the interest, specially for women in fashion, design and materials is here at GLOBO. I'll work on it!
