Gloria, Thanks for reading my Mangalore report.
I hope the medication helped for you wrist. It must be so annoying not to be able to use your hand.
I'll be off tomorrow for a ten-day holiday in the Baltic States. The weather there looks promising although not as hot as it is here. We're having a (minor) heatwave, which means that we have 30 degrees for theree days running, today is the third day.

Hi Gloria
Many thanks for your comments on two of my recent reports.
I'm sure Tuscany will remain the favourite region of Italy south of the Alps, with the possible exception of Liguria.
I'm not unhappy about this as it will possibly keep Abruzzo, my own favourite - so far - less crowd-ruined. I say 'so far' because I should be interested to try Marche, Basilicata and rural Lazio. The wishlist grows longer as the years when travel is more difficult grow closer - but no complaints. Heaven preserve me from having no wishlist or even a manageable one.
Cheers
David

Gloria,
Dublin is a lovely city, compact and charming. The surroundings are also beautiful. I haven't been there recently. Maybe you can ask Hugh http://www.globosapiens.net/horourke
he lives not very far from Dublin.
