Hi
I did not know that he was from Carlow, you learn every day! William Marshal, the one next to Gilbert is more wellknown, byt I took Gilbert, as he deserves id fifteen minutes of fame as well!
Thanks for the Info,
Nice photos of Irish Flowers by the way.

Hugh; thanks

Hugh, Thanks for reading about Madurodam. If ever you come to the netherlands it is worth a visit. I was there last Saturday and thoroughly enjoyed it. My last visit was 15 years ago (I used to live quite close). Lots of things had changed, new buidlings and the ones I had expected to see were no longer there. Fortunately it was not crowded at all, so I could stroll along at leisure.

Hello!

You live in one of the wonderful countries above this world. I think that's why your gallery is full of beautiful shots. Your gallery is my number one :) I would like to say something in Gaelic but I have forgotten. it was something like this: slang agnus beannocht. Am I right?
Take care!

Hello Hugh,

Thanks for your comments; I actually couldn't remember the official name (Son et lumiere) of the display. I've now updated my report to include it, thanks very much.

Take care
