Thanks for your kind welcome, much appreciated. I looked at your photos taken in Ireland. Brilliant! My wife and I have just retired and are hoping to spend more time together travelling around. Seems a brilliant site, this, but am trying to get around it first before uploading my pictures, (notice my self-denigration bit there? I spoke of your photos, but my pictures!!)

Congratulations! The first GLOBOaward is the best and never the last? You live in a beautiful country but a good photograph is always difficult to really get the atmosphere captured. You did it!
