Kerala calling !

Posted: 2006-10-05 06:05 PM
Hi Lyla,
Thanks for your entry in my guest book. Greetings from Kerala, India. My apologies for this long delay in responding. I was away from Globosapiens.net for a long long time. Hope to spend more time here from now on.
If I can recollect right you were asking me about my days in OXford. Yes, Oxford is a wonderful place and my long 25 years there were very very enjoyable. It was a difficult decision for me to make when I decided to re-allocate to Kerala for a few years. I miss Oxford and all my wonderful friends there very much. Internet has made things bearable though and it is nice to know that I can visit England and Oxford whenever I want.
That's all for now. Thank you for your interest in me. Take care and carry on smiling!
Cheers,
Kris

YMCA tips

Posted: 2006-10-05 02:31 PM
Lyla,
I was surprised by your tips - the YMCAs that I am aware of are more in the style of very few rooms with shared baths and not large facilities.

I am always impressed with the amount of time you are able to contribute here! I am a working mother and have to steal moments to hop on. I envy your ability to participate more fully! I wish I could!

Watcha...

Hello Lyla,

I've just got back from Africa, and I'm all excited. It was a perfect vacation, with so many extremes and varied situations, I couldn't ask for more. Hopefully I will get around to uploading some pictures.

Goodnews about your grandson. Here's hoping that you wish cames true.

All the best.

Amanda

London slideshow

Posted: 2006-10-03 11:26 PM
Thanks for your message about my slideshow, glad you enjoyed it.

The statue you mention is of Sir Isaac Newton at work, it's a 4m high bronze that sits outside the British Library near Kings Cross.

Kind Regards
Clive
