The small Apple Church is a simple Greek Cross supported by four highly decorated pillars, the paintings directly upon rock in the older style, and dates from the 11th C. The brilliantly colored walls reflect a 19th C restoration and include scenes from the life of Jesus from Nativity to Resurrection.
