| Favourite spots: |
|
Two areas. One is Gammel Stad just north of Lulea. It has a beautiful church and surrounded by hundreds of red wood stables. They are homes and some are old stables from over a hundred years ago (my facts are a little shakey). Another great area is north of Lulea by ahout an hour. Beautiful waterfalls and a raging river which you can stand out over on a bridge. It is one of the most beautiful rivers I have ever seen.

| What's really great: |
The people of northern Sweden are incredibly friendly. They will do anything to help you out. The happy lifestyle is refreshing.

|
There is a beautiful tall red bricked church in the middle of town. You can't miss it.
|

| Accommodations: |
|
There are a hostel or two, but I couldn't tell you the name. There are also plenty of nicer hotels.
|

| Nightlife: |
|
Three that come to mind. Hook up with some locals. They would love to take you out on the town.
|

| Hangouts: |
|
A must is to sit (during summer of course!) in the middle of the walking street (there is only one) and kick back with a beer. There are roped off areas that are designated for drinking. A waitress will then come take your order and you can watch the world go by.

| Restaurants: |
|
Lots and lots.
