I stayed in Chiang more for arround 3 months, and I had I great time. Chiang Mai is just a great city to be in with a lot of things going on. You can study Thai Massage, Yoga, great night life, close to nature
My main objective was to study Thai Massage, I booked a course online with one of the big schools, but I was really dissapointed while doing the course, it felt very unpersonal and orientated at money. After the course I decided to shop around a bit and I came across a school called NAMO Chiang Mai. I did a two week course there, the teaching was great, the teacher, a foreigner, very skilled and I received a lot of personal attention. And he gave a lot of attention to how I could use my body in the best way.
After the course was finished I did a yoga introduction course also at NAMO Chiang Mai, with a really intresting Russian guy, who lived as a monk the greater part of his life
After all these teaching I decided to go to Pai for a wek a really great and chilled place. Nothening really happening bet just a very chilled place to be, with alot of interesting travellers. After this week I spend 6 more weeks in Chinag Mai, basicly just hanging out, enjoying life, exploring the night life, Warm Up club is a greast place to go out. In Chiang Mai I stayed at Grace Questhouse, very affordableand a great restaraunt. If you stay in Chiang Mai make sure you rent a bike, makes life so uch easier
Favourite spots:
NAMO Chiang MAI, massage plus Yoga
Charcoal, great Cakes and great Coffee
Tsunami, best Sushi
Grace House, affordable rooms

What's really great:
I had the best experience with the water festival, a great festival. And i enjoyed studying at NAMO Chiang Mai very much
Your introduction is interesting but you need to tell us more about the places you mention in other sections.
I know photos are not always possible but a report without them is unlikely to gt more than 4* at best.
