Interlaken and the jungfrauhoch region are gorgeous, come winter or come summer. The slopes are good for all, if you're good then your on a roll, i was an absolute beginner on the snowboard so i never got to touch a ski lift really :) Theres a lookout point which is apparently the highest point in europe. Balmers or the Happy Inn lodge are good places to stay but book early!
Favourite spots:
The city has its charms although its not very different from any other swiss town, quite touristy...but your there for the slopes right!!
What's really great:
The region immediately surrounding Interlaken is breathtaking. The best part was biking across the countryside around interlaken.
Sights:
The jungfrau region
Accommodations:
Balmers or Happy Inn Lodge
Nightlife:
Wasnt really there for clubbing...
Hangouts:
Cant really remember but there are a few where you can get a decent bevvie :) If your hitting the slopes early and a beginner like me...stay sober!
Restaurants:
Take a bike and get to the suburbs of interlaken and you'll find out where the regulars eat. fondue aint the only thing they have yknow.
nice report on Interlaken. Sounds like you had lots of fun (especially on the slopes with your bewwie :-)) Did you know, that you can add pictures to each paragraph your wrote. It's pretty easy and looks like a different category!
Have fun!
