Jutiapa is located at 72 miles from Guatemala City and has great mountains, views and food. Is famous for the quality of the milk, cheese and cream. If you happen to be near Jutiapa, take a minute to visit the place and enjoy the great meals over there.

Ipala Volcano and Monterrico. Both are volcanoes and are really easy to climb. The first one has a beautiful lagoon inside the crater and great view from the lookout.

The weather is warm wich is nice to find at the end of the year when most of the weather in the country is cold. Besides that, you will find small but beautiful lagoons along the road.

El Solar is a great place with great, i mean great meals. Is located in front of the main park. 15 sept Street 3-37 zone 1 in Jutiapa.

Atescatempa is small town where you will find a great lagoon that is worth visiting.
In fact, the whole place is filled with lots of lagoons, if you have the time to travel around, you will see from small ones to big ones. Don'f forget to bring your camera.

| Climbing the volcanoes sounds great and as you say that it is not so difficult I would like to try, but this means I will have to visit Guatamala. One day I may do this, and I suppose Januaryi and February are good months, when it's winter in Europe |
