The valley is situated at an altitude of 1336m above the sea level and covers an area of 218 sq miles. The rich tapestry of the cultural heritage of Nepal is synthesized in the Kathmandu Valley, the home of the ancient Newari culture.

You will be able to experience the extra ordinary cultures of the brave Sherpa climbers who have conquered the Everest for decades. Hillary school, established by Sir Edmond Hillary (The first hero to conquer the Mt Everest), is also located in Khumjung valley; the altitude here gets 3900m from the sea level. It takes 16 days to complete Mt Everest Base Camp, one of the best Outdoor adventure trek that is available in Nepal.
