Exotic Resort at Munnar Kerala India

  9 votes
God's own Country! This is what this South Indian State is called! Back waters, beaches, hills, plantations of tea, cashew and palm trees. Temples and tanks and dances like Mohiniattam and Kathakkali.

Self and wife had recently went to Munar- a hill resort owned by Sterling Holidays. It was just wow! Got to visit the water falls, lakes, mists and tea gardens...

Favourite spots:
Shotting point and Lakes. The water fall was just awesome. The views from almost 300 feet above the sea level is wonderful to watch. One can also have Elephant ride... and bunny can eat some raw carrots. To quench your thirst one can surely have tender coconut water ( and if you like a bit with Vodka!)

What's really great:
Tea gardens and the clouds kissing the hills. There are over 40 hairpin bends to reach by road from Kochi. There is dam- with boating and fishing.

Sights:
Water falls
Shooting point
lakes

Accommodations:
Sterling Holidays Resort.
They have the best rooms-with- serving Indian and continental food.

You can also check into their quarters facing the hills.

Restaurants:
Annapara.

Other recommendations:
Tea gardens owned by Tata Company and Harrison malayalam.

Yes, very short but a bit in it! Perhaps just promoting "Sterling Holidays Resort", then should rather be uploaded as a "travel tip"?

This sounds great for a visit but your report is rather thin. Don't rush to publish a report until you are sure you haven't got anything else useful to say. I'm sure you could tell us more - don't forget many of us only know what you tell us about the place you report.
