Senggigi coast, one of the most beautiful sights in the world. Indonesia is a big country. Not everyone (indonesian) has a chance to see all the parts of the island. I myself haven't seen Bali until I was thirty something.
Lombok
Lombok is located next to Bali (less then 1 hour flight). Some say it's Bali 10 years ago. Not exactly. There is a difference. It's more quiet and natural and I dare to say it's more beautiful and charming. You have to go there and see it for yourself.

Senggigi
Senggigi coast, is a beautiful long stretched coast on the western part of the Lombok island. You can drive along the coastal road, up and down the hills, and see the beach below. The air is so fresh (Jakarta is so polluted !!!). I love the island and its people. Friendly atmosphere. It is heaven on earth.

Aside from its natural beauty, the island is calm, quite, rather peaceful. Time stands still. There is something going on in Mataram. It is quite busy, but still, compared to my hometown Jakarta, it feels like everyday is Sunday in Lombok.

Two points. 1. Many of us know nothing about hte area other than what you tell us. I am sure you could give considerably more information.
2. Personal photos are not usually highly regarded here. Try for something that portrays the nature of the place more.
