MY FIRST TRIP ABROAD

  1 votes
Trip to Rio and a short stop in Buzios The fist ever trip with friends i´ve made that far, also my first time on an airplane. It was a kind cultural shock, very nice place to visit, lots of fun and beautiful scenery.

DAY 1 We got up like mega-early that day to get to the airport, due to the fact that i buyed my airtickets later than my friends i was leaving on my own….

When i got off the plane i was totally lost, i have to get from terminal 1 (the one LAN uses) to terminal 2 (my friends TAM terminal) actually asking for people´s help. I found the girls and then we were on our way to our hostel called “che lagarto” a nice/cheap/clean place to stay in Ipanema and we got our bedrooms ready to go out!!

DAY 2 My friend Carol and me got up early again to take a tour to Corcovado and Pan de Azucar (translated sugar bread) with personal guide and costs around US$76 or some… they picked us up in a safari like jeep very amusing, they told us histories about the city, Botafogo, the statue of Bernardo O´Higgins (a Chilian history character) and the people, it was kind of like a Little city tour. The view Beautiful, we got our photographs , some drinks. I recommend it although you can make it yourself if you´re confident enough.

We got back close to midday, we got a nap and by the night out again to adknowledge the sea shore from Ipanema to Copacabana and all of the charms of it including the coconut´s cold juice.

DAY 3 BUZIOS TOUR

By far the best tour i´ve had til now, a lovely day, the crew picked us up in a prívate bus pretty comfortable with a very nice Argentinian guide that actualy talked more like a Cuban that was funny.

When we got there a Little boat was waiting for us to go oversea and visit the beaches of Buzios.

Lots of music, a camera guy who was actually a Samba instructor and caipirinhas on bord for drinks, people from many diferent places, sun, sea water splashing around.

Finaly we got to the hostel, take showers and sleep zzzzzzz

There was more but i only have 2.000 characters so....

And sorry if i misspelled any word :D

Favourite spots:
Ipanema´ beach
The Christ statue on top of Corcovado
The Leblon stores
The pub next to the che lagarto hostel
The view from Pan de Azucar

What's really great:
Cold coconut´s juice
The beach environment around the city

Sights:
The high sceneries from Corcovado and Pan de Azucar are classical

Accommodations:
I would totally recommend the che lagarto hostel but don´t expect to get extracomfortable

Nightlife:
Any pub or bar near the Ipanema or Leblon district is fine, even just the beach with a beer does.

Hangouts:
Just chill out on the beach cause it´s almost always summer there
