When we got to Toronto we went on a great moose hunt downtown. They had this promotion with fiberglass, life size moose, painted in different styles to represent the business or association that was to be promoted. Some moose can still be seen here and there in the city.

Favourite spots:

Queen St and that area is where things are happening downtown; Much Music has its headquarters there, Cafes , the Eaton mall, and hip boutiques are also present. Plus there is a great assortment of restaurants, including the Kit Kat restaurant (Italian food and ownership) which is one of my favorites.

What's really great:

While in Toronto, one must not miss `the`visit up to the CN Tower, which is the World`s Tallest Building. In less than a few second you find yourself up the tower, where there`s a great view of the whole city, a glass floor you can walk on and a neat restaurant. Photographic equipment and accesories can be purchase while being up there too. On the ground floor there is an assortment of gifts shops, canadian art and restaurants.

Hangouts:

The Big Star Jeans Cafe is a hip pub that is home to a bar, a restaurant, a small patio and clothing. What a great combination. So beer in hand, you can relax while shopping for jeans, while listening to rock music.

Restaurants:
The Teriyaki experience is a Japanese restaurant found almost everywhere in Toronto. The food is great and service is fast. See my guide reference for this restaurant.

Other recommendations:

Nice, brief report. I wish more would be written about Toronto, a city I love.
