Can I suggest a MONTHLY or even better QUARTERLY newsletter to ALL members who wish it, which would also show award winners and all the runner-ups, more statistics and trivia, only very short bla-bla. This would simply list new topics in the forum, help archive the current list of best 40 pictures and reports for future comparison, each month show all new members and possibly have a NoM "Newbee of the Month Award", excerpts from members GLOBOblog ( travel log) and members can write in to as "who is on the road". The monthly newsletter should not be too much work, it should be a simple summary of the months activities, mostly copy and paste together with some articles, info or comments that members can send in. A copy of these monthly reports should also be archived online at GLOBO under "more".
