Hi Eire
Thanks for the message. I don't know why you expected Becca to be beautiful - she doesn't get it from me - although I knew which was my daughter when I was let into a room at the maternity hospital when she was born - she looked all wrinkly and very like me but she lost the resemblance quite rapidly.
Cheers
David

Hi Eire,

Eire, I was three weeks in a sanatorium in Ciechocinek (my travel log). Stopped in Chelmno, I wanted to see the sights in the old city. I was lucky, the sky was blue. However, if you need to take a picture under the sun, it is not good.
Yours,
Basia

Thanks for your reply to Group Suggestions comment, I'm pleased that you agree but it still doesn't answer the question of how do we encourage members to add info? maybe a bonus of some kind for the best monthly picture comment added to an upload? just an idea. btw I did not include you in my remarks, you do a great info job. Cheers, Tony.

about Turkiye
Posted: 2009-05-22 01:25 PM
I d like to give some hints, because there are a lot of places and you need very long time to see all of them, but I know it is impossible for you..
Because of historical importance and natural beauty, I think Istanbul is a must to visit.
If you like to see nature, hiking/biking or even rafting on a wild river, you should see Black sea region (Karadeniz), especially eastern-north part of Turkey. I can recommend you a travel agency,
http://www.ayder.com.tr/en/index.php
they ve perfect tours, I also attended in 2006, please see my Black Sea Region of Turkiye album.
In Aegean part, you may find a lot of historical places and also nice beaches, please google these words; ephesus, afrodisias, bodrum, marmaris, kusadasi, datca etc. We will also visit these places in this July, I hope:)
South of Turkey is famous with the beaches, natural caves, also historical places and very famous kebaps and desserts:)
The list is too long, I can give you hints later.
take care,
Bu

How re you? I saw your message about your daughter' s holiday plan. What kind of tour does she want? As you know Turkey has a lot of oppurtunities like; seaside, cultural, historical tourism and also she should taste our delicious meals:) I also invite you to see the Hagia Sophia in Istanbul.
I also congratulate your last pics, I ve not enough time to comment them but they re all perfect.
best wishes,
Burak
