Hi Eire!

Hi!
I'm really glad you got a chance to look at the album because I remember us talking about the Narrows beforehand. We had so much fun there on our mini-vacation. I think I saw a comment that you've just been to Yosemite? I'll have to check out your pics when I get back from Vail on Sat (work, not pleasure, but will still take pics!).
Thanks for your nice comments!
Take care,
Jill

Færoes

Hi Eire
Thanks for your message. I can't honestly press anybody to go from the other side of the Atlantic. Some do but I admit that any English I heard was with UK accents - or Færoese people - so many of them do.
From there it must be really expensive to get to the Færoes and the main virtue it lacks is cheapness when you get there. The other is a good climate and you could be spending a fortune to see rain and mist. We were incredibly lucky - only one really bad day and there's enough there for a maximum of two.
Cheers

Turkistan ... album
Posted: 2008-09-03 01:39 PM
Hi Eire,
Thank you very much for your kind words. I was really happy to have decided to come to Turkistan to see the mausoleum. That was THE reason to come to Kazakhstan at all. I was very impressed with its size!
Best regards,

Blue cities

Hi Eire,
nice to read you liked the pics. Actually Jodhpur is on my wishlist now, when I know it's blue as well. Do you know anything about other blue cities/towns in the world?
Best

Re: Next Trip

Hi Eire,
What a nice idea taking one of your kids away one at a time.
Actually I am leaving today for 1 night in Sydney before going to Hong Kong for 2 nights then Paris, the Loire Valley over to Venice down thru Italy to Amalfi over to my sister in law in London then a few days in Ireland and back via Bangkok. Funnily enough not my choice of a trip. It's 5 weeks with ..... my mum in law - scary thought; only joking. But actually we are very excited for her she's 74 and it's her first trip anywhere! Just ask me in 5 weeks.
Hopefully I can log onto my travel log whilst we are on the road.
Cheers,
Kerrie
PS Hows your daughter? Still doing OK?
