Congratulations

Hello Eire,
your AOM is wonderful and reminded me of my unfortunately short visit to Gran Canyon and Mesa Verde in 1985. Thank you! Thanks, too, for your nice comment about our photo Pisano's Pulpit. Yes, it was a great experience to walk through the cathedral and to see all this preciosity.
Best regards from Germany - Petra

Hi Eire
Thank you so much for your comments on all my Færoes reports.
I am sure you would love the islands but I can't think the expense could be brought within reasonable bounds.
Cheers

Hi Eire,
thanks a lot for reading + commenting my 'old' Düsseldorf-Report! I am sure you would like this city - so, if you ever visit Germany, don't forget to drop by. Your local guide is already standing by :-) ...
Take care, Christian

Dog wearing a Hat

Eire
I really liked your pictures of the white desert; a quite an unusual place.
I thought your picture 'dog wearing a hat' was wonderful and as I said it reminded me of a cartoon character for a bit of fun I found a picture of Huckleberry Hound on the net:

It made me smile, I hope it does the same.

Learning from our children.

Yes from personal experience I know we learn from our children much more than we can ever teach them.
In your case however the learning arose at least in part from the challenge you set.
Have you written any books?
The depth of your experience and incisive reflection would I think sell!!

White Cliffs
Posted: 2008-07-25 06:00 AM
Hi Eire,
Thanks for your comment. I always wanted to see White Cliffs in Denmark. I saw once the photo and I felt in love with this place :). So when I went to Denmark I had to go there - but it wasn't so easy. No direct buses, way back - few kilometers to nearest village etc - but you know what - it was really worth. One of the most charming places that I saw in my live. I had also lucky with the weather. I do have more pictures and will upload them soon.
I am alright, will change my work soon, but I am happy with that. I cant be so active on Globo because my computer at home is broken :( so I can't even finish my few reports
And that is the reason why I haven't seen all your photos form Egypt. I hope that during this weekend will have a chance to see all of them. I can't wait - I saw some of them and they are beautiful. You really enjoyed this country.
Have a nice day
Rafal

Thank you for your very generous comment. I have been busy lately and failed to comment on your contributions. You never fail to bring joy to this site throough the nuances you find in all that you experience in your travels.
