I was actually nervous about the one on Todmorden. After so many kind and favourable gradings, it would have seemed horrible if my home town had been selected for a poorer one - and it's only a small place.

Such a small country but so much to offer and very colourful. Thanks for sharing that with us. Incidently, see that you have almost 5 pages of **** and ***** pictures now, a nice collection! :-)

I seem unable to keep off here long but I just have to congratulate you on some of those recent photos of Vientiane.
I'm a stingy marker of photos and I don't think I have ever handed out 5 5s to the same person in a day before.

for your comments on my Scottish reports. That's all I've got photos for but I shall do some others on favourite places without pics.
I've still got some photos to put up on other Eorpean reports and some in England - so the Scottish ones will not be all that soon.
How about some more home ones from you?

I never considered going to Newcastle, but your report revealed an interesting city that I just didn't know about. If I show up there, I'll let you know!
Since I have practiced Tibetan Buddhism for the last 12 years, I am especially in love with your photos of Nepal and Thialand. The Japanese Peace Temple is unbelievably beautiful. It must have been awesome to see in person.
