I had to update my picture, the other one was getting old.. *wink*... as per sophistication,hummm... Pictures can be deceiving... hhahhah....
I'm glad you enjoyed the pictures of Portugal... reports and pictures of Frankfurt will be added soon..
I enjoyed your Sri Lanka pictures. They are breathtaking. :-)

Hi Britman!

Thank you so much for the kind words you've written in my guestbook. It really means a lot to me. It is true that I was spending a lot of time on GLOBO last month, I was just having so much fun uploading my photos and writing the reports. It was a nice surprise to find out that I won the two awards. I owe it to Andreas and everyone in the community for voting for it and also all their comments in helping me improve my work. It is afterall a shared success.

I should be adding some new reports soon although they would be less spectacular from the previous ones I've posted, but I will try my best. You are my mentor when it comes to report writing and I shall strive to do better.

Thanks for all your pointers and feedback.

The snow is a far cry from Sri Lanka.

The brambles, leafless beside the fence in the foreground, make the feeling of chill almost palpable.

The sweep of the distant fields create the total atmosphere of early winter under a leaden sky.

Hi Brit,it is always a Great Pleasure for me (in between from my work ) to read you reports and browse through all of your amazing images ;-I cant stop even to go back and read a few times on the row the same report,you had been written!!!
It is like shifting myself into a totally different worlds, without leaving my office chair.

Sorry for the long silence. My 86 year old mother was seriously unwell and I was with her in the nursing home. Things are slowly getting better. I look forward to hearing from you,
