Yeah, black beauty watermelons taste the same as normal ones. But it's sweeter than the normal one. And its seed is bigger and blacker, and redder within.

hehe.......Yeah, most of watermelon in China is also in green colour. Watermelon in black colour seems just produced in Hainan, the southernmost city of China. I think maybe it's relation to the quality of soil. I don't know, hehe.........

Thanks for your positive observations and remarks. Wishing you great festive season and all the best for 2006. I had a very quite Christmas eve, my wife is with the kids in the Philippines till end of January, so I invited some bachelor friends over for a meal. We watched our first Bollywood movie on TV - 'Koi Mil Gaya' with Hrithik Roshan. It was so funny and marvelously filmed - absolutely great, you can be proud of India's film industry!

Yeah, black beauty is nice picture. I like its name and also like eating it. : ) very sweet watermelon. Do you know, in Hainan, local people like eating it with some salt. Salt? Yes. It is said that eating watermelon with salt, that will be sweeter. I haven't tried this. coz I think it's very strange. salt & sweet? hm.............

Ravi, haven't contacted with you for a long time, how are you doing recently? Hope all the things on your side go well.
