Hi Ravi,
Thanks for your positive comments on my photos of Laos, I am glad that you enjoyed them.
It is a special country with so many great photo opportunities.
It's not so far for you so maybe you will have to visit someday.
Take care,
Kerrie

One more thing Ravi...

I'm sorry if my earlier note sounded like "I know everything". It wasn't meant that way. I humbly acknowledge that U know much more about all this....and are 100000 times better than me in this subject. The only point I wished to make was....even if I have a great new camera.....the pictures really need not be as great!! The biggest factor is "akhila is shooting" and not Ravi.
Take Care & Have a nice day

Hi Ravi

Continuing with our discussion about cameras and creativity...I found a whole set of hyperlinks for you. Yes, these latest and greatest point and shoot cameras with multiple settings are great..but an artist or a pure professional photographer, still like to have control over many of the settings. And high end "professional" digital cameras are very very expensive.
The recent series of Canon, Fuji 3-5MP digital cameras with multiple settings are most commonly used by journalists, travellers, new Moms....people who like to capture the moment. And not necessarily a creative artist..whose soul is photography.
Guess I bored U enough, here are some interesting links for you.

So, U did get my email.
As Prabhakar says.."It is not the camera or the object being pictured, it is the person behind the camera that makes all the difference." Yeah, the camera has changed, but the person behind is still the same....so I'm not sure U can expect much there.

Thanks for leaving 2 nice notes in my guestbook....I don't get many visitors to my guestbook, so I really don't check that often, hence the delay in replying.
BTW, m,y profile pic is an old one.. Chicago 2001
Yes, we did have fun at the Moody Gardens at Galveston, it was OK(not really extraordinary), Sai had a nice time though.
I'll email you some pictures.
Hope you had some time off Ur busy schedule for yourself on your Bday... did you get a cake?
Take Care.
