Hi Amanda,
I hope you are well.
I did enjoy the order and tidiness of Singapore. I really did. Although, I thought Little India was not very clean at all... I was in Singapore after having been to Sydney, so traffic felt normal to me. I only thought that the shopping was simply 'too much in my face' and my sense of freedom could not agree with the threats of harsh penalties for relatively harmless offenses. So I felt constrained there. Uh, but I loved the food!

When I was there a year ago, there were occasional outbreaks and riots by the Red Shirts but nothing like what is going on now. We avoid Bangkok for the same reason, only sending the first and the last day there. The rest of the time we spent in the North.
I am sorry you missed it! I enjoyed the ruins (kinda my thing) so much! Still, Cambodia must have been wonderful! It's on my list with Laos and Vietnam. Some day!

I had such a great time in South Africa again and there are many more pictures to come. But I have to say, the animal pics are my absolute favourites. And I was so pleased to finally see lions in the wild.
