I'd like to get more time to post new pictures but I am unfortunately too busy with my students and my translation duties.
All the best to you.

Hi Amanda,
it took some days but today it's sunday and I find the time to thank you for signing my guestbook. Well, in NZ it's easy to take good photos - you find great spots everywhere.
Thanks again + have a nice Sunday!

Amazing Project!

Amanda,
I really enjoyed your slideshow on the Eden Project - what a marvelous undertaking. The contrast between the clay pit and the finished project is amazing. This is our future, especially global warming continues. The shots were great on their own but as a slide show, the point really comes across!

How's the hard drive?
Posted: 2007-09-05 06:35 AM
Amanda,
How is the hard drive? I've been through this and even living in Silicon Valley, it's not easy to get the help you need to recover everything! I hope nothing was lost - that is soooo frustrating. I need to start burning things to CD myself.
Thanks for your kind word on my slideshow. It is one of my favorite parts of the country and any excuse to hike is good with me:-)

Amanda,
I enjoyed these pictures when you first posted them. It was a treat to reconnect with them in your slide show. I have such respect for the life they not only live but embrace!

Eden Gardens

Hi Amanda
After seeing your photos, I'd like to visit the "Eden Project" one day, perhaps on a trip to Land's End? We have something much smaller at the botanical gardens in Munich but similar environments, done in pyramid shaped structures in "Moody Gardens" (Galveston, Texas) impressed me a lot. I like the Satellite view too, copy & paste these co-ordinates to "Google Earth" or http://maps.google.com
