St Austell

Hi Amanda
I've inserted the Lost Gardens of Heligan into your list of places under St. Austall. I think it's great but it's your entry so, if you don't want it there, just delete and I shan't take offence.
Cheers

Amanda,
Thanks so much for your compliment. It was a marvelous trip - I sometimes forget how beautiful my own country can be. Your many UK posts remind me to look in my own "backyard"!

Triangle...
Posted: 2007-08-15 07:45 AM
Thanks for the info. I have been to that country twice, it is actually a custom in Israel when finishing mandatory military 3 years. Never got as far north as Nepal but love the country. Golden Triangle of course is the nom de guerre of the Heroin triangle in northern Thailand, etc., bit confusing, yes?
Always, Rachamim

Poland

Hi Amanda,
Actually in Krakow there are flocks of tourists all year round irrespective of the month. But summer is definitely worst. April and May seem to be the best months to visit Poland. It's warm and sunny but the numbers of tourists are relatively small.
When again in Poland try also other places, especially smaller ones, e.g. Zakopane around which you may find many trekking opportunities in gorgeous Tatry Mountains. Make sure you try rafting on Dunajec River in Pieniny Mountains (ca. 2,5 hrs on a bus from Krakow and about an hour from Zakopane).
All the best,
Adam

Luxor & Egypt

Amanda,
I reread your Luxor report - Nicely done! How did you did you pull the trip together - it sounds like you didn't go on a tour but travel on your own?? We have two weeks to spend and I will be with my 13 yr old who is very much up to anything. Did you fell safe? Did you use a guide?
Anything info you have would be great!!!

Amanda,
I was delighted to see your report on Victoria Falls chosen as Report of the Month. You always have such wonderful descriptions in your reports - it makes them a pleasure to read!

Amanada,
Thanks for the photos. They give an impression of the beach. We have travelled in Tunisia in the past, but never went to Hammamet.
