Desert

Hi Amanda,
thanks for your compliments. I enjoyed very much this trekking through the desert. At the beginning it was hard to walk in the sand, but after about 4 days we got used of it. Altogether we walked a distance of 131 km in 9 days, the temperatures were pleasant (25°C). I Guess when you climbed dune 45 it was much warmer.
Have a nice day

Cornwall reports
Posted: 2006-10-25 11:52 PM
Hi Misty
Thanks for your comments on my two reports. The only problem about Cornwall is overpopularity, which means you need to be careful about time and place.
I'm a bit grounded for the rest of this year by family circumstances but I hope to get to York and possibly Chester for day trips. Both are likely to generate pictures and reports.
Then I hope to fly somewhere in January - not sure where yet.
Cheers
David

I to pick the best and clearest pictures to upload to the website. A comment was made that the slideshow would be better with more photos, but does anyone want to look at below standard pics?
I'm glad that you and many others on this site are enjoying my pictures and I hope to add more soon.

Hi Amanda,

I lived in Wales (South Wales to be exact) for about 18 months, and visited London at least 2 times per month. I certainly couldn't leave the UK without visiting Stonehenge at least once. I agree that this is an amazing World Heritage site and I recommend to anyone and everyone to see it with their own eyes. Truly breathtaking!

Hi Amanda!
I am travel-leader of a norwegian group of 70 persons for this trip to South Africa. We will travel along the coast from Cape Town to Durban. Near Durban we will spend 3 days with a SA group from our church.
I really look forward to this.

Amanda, thanks for writing. no it's not my first fish but it was my first in that lake in years of trying! My sons and I got many larger fish a few months ago. Your "sign" looks like a dancer from "down-under" ...is that right? jim
