Opera

Hi Amanda,
The Beijing Opera is an excellent show. The kungfu acrobats are amazing. The 'different' percussion music and the high pitched voices are quite an experience too. We really did enjoy it.

London's sculptures and statues

Posted: 2006-06-25 03:08 AM
Hi Amanda, I started with the Navigators then realised I also had a photo of the coffee bean outside City Hall and then the Hare in Broadgate.

There are many strange statues around the Broadgate area and indeed the whole of London so I am going to try to get a collection together and publish them as a slideshow.

Best Wishes
Clive

Thank you so much for your compliment on my Vancouver report. I hope you do go there someday & experience all that beauty & fun yourself.

The sculpture in question is entitled "Device for Rooting Out Sin." I forgot the artist's name.

Stonehenge

Amanda,
Lovely to post this on summer solstice. Stonehenge looks the same as when I was there in the sixties. One of your photos shows a fence. Is all of Stonehenge now fenced in? I think I read about this.
