Sydney!

Hi Amanda,
I was climbing the Sydney harbor bridge. The bridge climb was very cool as one can see the entire harbor and the Opera house! I highly recommend!
Cheers,

Fountains

Hi Amanda,
I'm glad you enjoyed my last slideshow. We try to 'discover' our own country on our weekends. *smile* We know more about other places than our own homes. Strange how that is.
I do agree that it is a very odd fountain on that photo. I couldn't find any history regarding it. It's probably buried very deeply somewhere.
Talk to you soon

Plymouth

Hi Amanda
The view that Plymouth isn't a place to visit is quite mad! I hope you will treat anything else this colleague says with a mine full of salt.

The only possible basis for such a statement could be a dislike of imediate port-ww2 planning. Certainly Plymouth could be deemed to have suffered from being so fast off the ground as others benefited from its mistakes - but that in itself adds to its appeal for a visit - almost makes it a [very living] museum.

Cheers
David

Hi Misty
I only said we lived in Exeter for a year. By birth and education up to age 19 I am a Plymothian. If you've not been to Plymouth, you should go!

Devon

Hi Misty
I'm so glad you seem to have been enjoying Devon, the land of my birth.
I'm a very happy exile in Yorkshire, pretty well naturalised in fact, but I still miss Devon in late March and April - when I know it's spring there and it's still winter here.
Cheers
David
