With all sincerity....

Misty,
if you come back to California, please let me know. I can loan you back pack or camp gear (four kids - I have lots!) so that you can see the best of California. If I know ahead of time, I will take a couple of days off. Yosemite and Big Sur are probably my two favorite places but there is so much more. I am so blessed to live so close to so much beauty! I wish I could share it with everyone!

hello amanda

hi!
wow! i bet u will love your safari adventure!
as for me, i have yet to visit ireland. original plan was to stop in London then head to Dublin. Now i am not sure what my bf has planned. Will decide soon as we have to attend a friend's wedding in mid sept. otherwise, i might be looking at a short hol to either bali or hk.
btw.. i might not be able to churn out reports as doc says i shld not strain myself as i have CTS. so i have to cut down on typing and not exert myself. hence shall limit myself to uploading pics and writing destination guides / tips.
happy travels'

Can't wait to see the first pics

Hi Amanda

Thanks for keeping me updated. Well it seams that you choose a good camera. :-)

Will you go out and take some shots for us to see the new quality?

What I recommend now is take a lot of pics just to make sure you know how your camera works and how you get the best results.

Have a great day

camera

Amanda,
I have got two cameras. My favourite one is EOS 350D, but it is not ultra compact and fairly bulgy and somewhat heavy.

My other one is Olympus C-50. I bought it some three years ago, I think, and I am still happy with it.

If you buy a compact one it may be a good idea to have not only the display window but also a viewer. I find it difficult to see my object in the display when it is very sunny and in that case I use the viewer. these days there are quite a few cameras without a viewers.

I don't know if this helps. It took me about two month to decide which one to buy as there is so much contradictory information.

Been Buried

Posted: 2006-08-09 12:40 PM
Misty,
I have been just buried at work. I have finally convinced them to split my position into two and am in the process of interviewing for the other half of me.

I am off to India with my daughter in 14 days. We will be there for 14 days! Iam so looking forward to it! I will try to Journal as we go along.

Great to hear from you! I miss being around!

every-day London

Amanda,
I thoroughly enjoyed your London slide show. It is really good to see familar sights. I especially liked Hays Gallery (probably because I took the same photo) and Victoria Station because it was MY station when I lived in Surrey, (only for 10 months, as a student)
