Hi folks, I became an early pensioner in 2015 and now have a 50m² apartment in München-Laim with sunny balcony. This is the first time in my life that I am living alone. Now enjoy my hobbies!

hot air balloon

Hello Rudi,
I received your kind and witty words. I swear you there was no UFO and hot air balloon there. This photo was taken from one of the little pinnacles of the Fishermen's Bastion. The Parliament is over there on the other bank of the River Duna. I have found your report about Budapest yet. It was pleasure to read about famous Hungarians. Thank you.
With regards,
Ildi

Hi Rudi!
Thank you for having a look at my latest pictures. Well, that was my first time in NY and Boston - and I was really impressed. By the way: My favourite picture is the one in the Radio City Music hall, but I seem to be the only one :-).
Have a nice weekend, Christian

Salzburg and Clouds
Posted: 2005-06-30 06:12 AM
Bonjour Rudi,
Thank you for your kind comments about my Salzburg pictures.
And yes, clouds are a little difficult to control in photography. One could always use a filter, but I try to stay away from filters, except for a polorizer. Especially when I'm traveling, the luggage becomes heavy fast.
While we were in Salzburg, although we were only there for a few days, are days were very very full. Walking a minimum of 12 hrs a day. We try to make the most of our time when we travel, yet it gets very tiring, and we end up trying to recuperate our sleep for weeks afterward. Hhahhah
Talk to you soon

Hi Rudi

Nice to hear from you; I have been so busy at school (end of schoolyear and exam corrections) and translations that I could not find any minute to browse around in Globo.
I am glad you like ships among other things.
Cheers.

Rudi, Belize was wonderful! I enjoy traveling in Central and South America - they are parts of the world so many people miss!
Thank you for the compliment on my photo - that butterfly followed me for several minutes through the rain forest then lighted on my nose. He actually stayed there for a while!

Thanks for your comment on my Noord-Holland report, I have noticed that globo image compression algorithm spoil report picture' sky when it's uniform, do you have any suggestion?
