Hugh,
Thanks for your kind comment. Zanzibar is an amazing place, but one visit is enough. It is not the idyllic and unspoilt place as most travel guides make you believe.

Hi Hugh
Thanks for your comment. I'd like to see it in the spring but there are so many places.
Cheers,

Your recent photos

Hi Hugh,
I won't pretend that I found all your 'light effect' pictures equally good but the best are very good indeed.
I believe they are generally underrated but I suppose it's what people think.
Cheers

Thank you for rating and commenting my pic, it's so good to hear feedback on the work one does :-)
You find loads of information about upheaval dome on the nps.gov homepage I tried to link it directly here but the service was down right now.
Other informations I found with a simple google search:
http://www.meteorite.com/impact/upheaval.htm
http://www.utahtrails.com/Upheaval.html
and loads more
just type in upheaval dome and hit enter on the google homepage :-)
Have a great day

I've been looking at your albums, I really like your sun album. Ireland, through your photos, looks absolutely stunning.

Hugh,
Its good to have some free time to explore globo again. I got back from China, got quite sick, then ran around over the holidays seeings friends and family, and now I am back in my school and work routine that leaves little time for playing around online. 5 classes + 20 hours of work = me always tired. haha
I am going to try and put some time aside to do some China albums and such, its relaxing and this community is great.
I was lured back this afternoon by a curt comment on my Xian report. I love that report, if only because people still get all bristled about it.
Thanks for welcoming me back. You reminded me that I really enjoy this little online travel haven.
Thanks!

You are very kind, Hugh. It appears as though I misinterpretted the one photo, thinking it the Moon instead of the Sun. Regardless, I enjoyed the photo. I still presume that the other object was Venus. Or, am I really screwed in my mind?
