David,
Sorry to be a bit blunt about some of your photos. Indoor photography is difficult. Did you use your flash? It does sometimes (not always) help. My camera has a 'night photo' mode, it does help (sometimes). Another thing I do is changing the ISO, but the higher that is the grainier the photo. Maybe Martin has the solution.

I liked to see all your Italy photos. A very good impression of the places you visited.

Lazio

David,
Lazio and surroundings sounds really good. We don't know when we will be visiting. Maybe in combination with the Verona opera season. We had a look this year but none of the operas was very attractive (for us).
What will be you next trip?

Thanks David, re photos

As I told tara, my photos, my camera not to mention my family are blown with the wind. Tara reccommended that perhaps because I don't want to use other peoples photos, I should insert links to sites which do have photos of the places I am writing about. What do you think? Other than that I have got to take time out to do my entire world romp again, but hey, I wouldn't complain! Maybe when I finish getting the qualifications I am going for right now, I think I might just do that. Don't know who might look after my cat though....1

Hi David

Thank you very much for your kind message. I must say that I never thought I'd win this award in May I posted other pictures I liked a lot more in other months but this one seamed to be posted at the right place in the right month... You need to be lucky from time to time too :-)

Have a great day and keep up your efforts here

missed one report

David,
I think I missed reading you very latest report. Could you let me know which it was. I opened a new browser and was chugged out of the first one I had opened and lost the references to the latest reports.

I'm off the ceiling now!

Hello David, thanks for your massage. Ma vie est complique! When I enrolled the first time my computer fell over, then when I finally got back here to retry, Globo said I hadn't completed my enrolment, so did it again, they sent me a mail with a code which was for my first enrolment. I tried to use that and couldn't of course. then logged in again and they said I could continue but the code still didn't work. I logged in again and they said I had completed my enrolment, that I was a member and could uploud from that first green page. so I did. then when I saved, it didn't, I tried to log back in and couldnt -----well then I flew!
1,2,3,4,5,6,......

i'm calm now.

My first effort has been edited, published and I am now reasonably happy! How has your day been? Lol!
Speak to you soon! Unless of course Globo take me at my word and cancel my account!!!

Eurostar Train

Posted: 2006-05-29 08:34 AM
Hi David
I am glad that you enjoyed your trip in italy, I hope you still have some money left!
I think you took Eurostar Italia, it is not the same as my eurostar that goes to Paris, it is totally differrent, it is the same name but they have nothing in common! It is operated by the Italian Railways, as Eurostar Group (the one I work for) trains are operated by 3 national Rail companies from France Belgium and GB.

This is a train Eurostar that goes to Paris from London:
