Thank you for your kind words in my Guestbook. I visited your website: it is Magnificent!
It is admirable to see that a champion how you, gets to notice and to communicate even with the most recent and humble users, of so far.
My city, Cabedelo, is part of the metropolitan area of João Pessoa, capital of the state of Paraíba, in the northeast of Brazil. Here, in estuary of River Sanhauá, it is the only commercial port of the state, that it receives ships, besides, of Europe.
Hereafter, I will make a guide of trip of my city.
Happiness and successes desire to you!
Thank you!
Marilene.

David: many other places
Posted: 2006-05-03 04:08 AM
David,
Besides Amsterdam there are many other places of interest, but you knew that, I suppose. Enjoy your Italy trip, I look forward to redaing about it as we may go there so next spring. That's still a long way off. We intended to go this year and at the same time to the verona to the opera. But we did not like this year's performances so we pottpone our visit. Tomorrow we are off to Rhodos, just for one week.

David and the weather
Posted: 2006-05-02 11:44 PM
David,
I don't really know what Morocco is like in spring. We were there only in winter (20 degrees during the day and VERY cold at night.) and in summer 40 degrees or over).
Zimbabwe may have a different climate from Morocco north of the sahara. Ar least that is what we think judging from our travel in Tanzania (in summer) definitely less hot than Morocco.
Are you planning to go anywhere soon? (Amsterdam is a nice place, in case you can't make up your mind)

Desert, flies and heat
Posted: 2006-05-01 09:17 AM
David,
Your right, it was very difficult with the heat; you sure have to be a tough cookie to endure that, especially in the Valley of the Kings. When I got back to the hotel in the evening, I heard of fellow travellers who had to be taken to hospital, through sun stroke, I nearly had it myself, while cycling around the Karnak Temple. Not to mention the flies, I was doing a few news reports and could hardly get the words out. Four days was all I could handle.
Cheers
Amanda
