Many thanks for a comment on my Isalo report. About churros - do the thick churros and the knotted porras take the same amount of time to fry?

Very nice and travelly photo in your profile picture. You are so good in changing them often. I am rubbish at that. Perhaps I strangely refrain from photographing myself en route. It is usually me behind the camera. Even my current profile picture, from Rapa Nui, I took myself... :)

You have great pics of Venezuela, you were very lucky to see the president!
Why Beer is cheaper than mineral water???? It is often the case is developping countries!!
It must be devastating for the local population healh!
10 years ago when I was in Prague (I was a student) we survived on beer as it was so cheap!!!

I do not smoke, but in China the cigarettes were dead cheap, everyone was smoking around, they all smoke. In 20 years they will all die of related illness!

oh...what a pity you did not go to jeonju...i believe to me, thats the most beautiful place in mainland s korea. btw...i am doing another report... on the Jeju Island. did you go there? and btw... when do i see your new reports..... cant wait to read your adventures!!
oh... am off on a cruise to penang and & phuket.... shall send you a postcard from there..
