El Camino de Santiago Album

Jorge, What an incredible journey, I felt like I was walking with you! The pictures are amazing but the explanations made it complete. I love your misty temple (no 8 I think ) and the ghostly witch trees. What a feat! Well done.
Felicidades!

El Camino Mozárabe to Santiago

I hope it is OK to say "congratulations", an increadible achievement I can only dream of. I still need the guts and faith in myself to do a walking pilgrimage from Munich to Altötting (100km) or to Passau (200km)! Thanks for sharing your experiences with us, it motivates. RRG

Hey Jorge,

Your trip must have been fascinating; it is something that I've considered doing, but I think I've got my holiday plans mapped out for the next three years (I know that is sad).

But who know what may happen.

All the best

Amanda

PS I also liked the pictures you've uploaded its like being a photo journalist.

Hi Jorge
I'd love to be able to do it - but since my severe heart problems in 1995, there's no way I could manage walking day after day.
It's sad but you have seen my attitude - not to grieve for what I can't do but to rejoice for what I can.
Cheers

Hi Jorge
I think this album is quite inspirational - whereas, if I were up to it, I should be one of the non-religious walkers going to see the scenery, vilages, nature and churches. I suppose the blend of atheism and strong interest in church architecture, music and artefacts [but rarely paintings] is a bit odd.
Cheers

Jorge, my Friend...

Sorry for the delay - there is no reliable internet on Flores Island... Thanks a lot for your wishes and also about your positive opinion on my Christmas Island report. You know well how difficult is to complete such a report from the rare visited place. But there were also other - better reports in December. Those jurors from GS they have the hard work: it is not east to make a choice of the hot info from rarely visited places or the cafe-table information. The info you cannot get anywhere and unique pictures or the text you can find in many guidebooks... Quality or quantity... I wish them good luck...
After landing in Indonesia I find out that local Sriwijaya Air cancelled the only route from Ind to Philippines I wanted to use. I have a problem: how to do theat route - via Borneo or via Papua NG or.... The internet is very weak here and I pay per minute - no much chance to browse. I think I'll fly to Manado and I'll look for the freightter on site... But if not?. Greatings!

I was pleasantly surprised when I viewed my mailbox this morning.
