Have I actually found somewhere you've not been? You've been to so many places that I,ve hardly even heard of that it makes a change!

Rating the San Antonio Report
Posted: 2005-10-19 04:51 AM
Brilliant short impressions of the USA and parts of Canada? ... badly designated, people looking for info just on San Antonio would rate it **! But how else? The report is amazing. Below is how I come to my rating, not all members rate like this, just my own personal views:
travel related: ***** best example
originality: ***** good % of own info
style (of writing): ***** easy and pleasant to read
grammar: ***** no serious errors
length: ***** optimal, non more
use of GLOBO format: * unconventional, problems with the databank/search functions will occur, also mapping
usefull tips: ***** very many
pictures: **** very good
tourist hub or remote place **** diverse
extras ***** brave and adventurous trip
----------------------------------------------------------------- AVERAGE: 4.4 **** (I rated *****)

Concepts/Rating
Posted: 2005-10-19 04:34 AM
... I thought you had read and deleated the ratings but I now remember getting an error "max 1000"( 10 lines) when posting the entry! I wrote something like: ".... it's a pleasure and honour to rate/comment on your reports because they are so good... it would be difficult to do the same for very bad reports... if there is anything I can do to help you, also research/enquiries and also while you are on the road please tell us... I think your reports here make a good base for writing a book, an autobiography or a collection of memories..." RR

for the comment on the Ballestas this time.
However there are 5 to come yet so I don't know whether Nazca will be next!

hi!
just realised that the pics featured in your San Antonio report has not been uploaded in your regular pictures slot. perhaps you could do this so that we can vote on the pics? i must add that the Grand Canyon and Ten Peaks pics are simply breathtaking!
bravo!

Jorge,
I live in California - the correct phrase, given that we have Arnold Schwarzenegger as Governor, is "Hasta la vista Baby". ;-)
