...thank you for the reply to the geo matter below. I too think it is VERY important to file/save GLOBO information under the correct geographic name/place and will help you to help staff fix/correct/expand the databank. I love geography and will assist/insist that staff keep up a correct databank!

P.S: Your Antarctic pictures are amazing. :-) Please ask Staff to add your specific islands, the pictures you show (snow and penguins) are very untypical of Reunion itself, might confuse other members!!! :-(

Hola Jorge,

hope you´ll find on Pitcairn Island what you´re looking for.
It´s an amazing place where I, for myself, also want to go one day, when it is affortable for me. But at the moment I prepare myself for the final exams of my geosciene diploma.
When that is finished, it might be possible to visit all that island communities around the world. This is my dream, especially that isolated islands like Kerguels, Tristan de la Cunha or even Pitcairn.
Do you have planed to take a passage to Henderson Island while you stay on Pitcairn? Met a scientist once who went there - he really gave me the advice to go there if it is possible. The Island is part of the UNESCO Natural heritage.
Well, have a good trip and I´ll wait for your pics and reports!

your pictures of Antartica are amazing. I especially like the penguins. To get so close to these animals is incredible! Looks like you had a fantastic time!

btw.. my next visits would be to Cambodia in end Oct 05 and North India + Kashmir in end Jan 06.

Es una gran aventura y un excelente report.
Pienso que la aventura esta en ti y no en el lugar al que vas. Por eso no estoy de acuerdo con tu observacion inicial (Claramente intencionada! ;) ).
Aunque luego lo maquilles con un "Bueno, actualmente, hasta Nairobi", Mitad de camino!)
Pero todo es cuestion de opiniones, no?

... both, for your trip achievements and the reports, congratulations! That specially for the RoM August, we now most hope for September too, really would like staff to repeat that this month, you diserve it. Some REAL adventure (between the city experiences) is so much appreciated at GLOBOsapiens. Reading your reports, I often gulp and shiver, sometimes giggle or laugh aloud, even cry! You should write a book, it will please millions...
